Alterations to the existing shopfront on the Haymarket elevation to include a new glazed shopfront with new entrance doors, a new planter hanging over the entrance and installation of four new uplighters to this elevation, replacement of the entrance door to the corner entrance and replacement of an existing MDF panel to Shaver's Place with a metal grille.
Because of their detailed design, colour and adjustable angle the proposed uplighters to the Haymarket elevation would harm the appearance of this building and fail to maintain or improve (preserve or enhance) the character and appearance of the Haymarket Conservation Area. This would not meet Policies 42, 44 and 45 of the City Plan 2019 - 2040 (January 2026). (X16AD)
