Reason 1
Because of the number and location of the external lights, the design and materials of the fascia sign, and the inappropriate paint treatment to the historic stallriser panels, the works would harm the appearance and thereby historic significance of this grade II listed building. They would also fail to maintain or improve (preserve or enhance) the character and appearance of the Haymarket Conservation Area. This would not meet Policies 38, 39 and 40 of the City Plan 2019 - 2040 (April 2021). (X17CD)
