Erection of timber fence screening to the south boundary of the first floor flat roof area and use as amenity space for occupiers of building.
The proposed use of the first floor flat roof area as an amenity space by the office occupiers of the building would lead to an unacceptable loss of privacy for people in neighbouring properties. This would not meet Policies 7 and 38(C) of the City Plan 2019 - 2040 (April 2021). (X13AD)
The proposed installation of the 1.8m closed fence panel would make the people living in 28 and 29 Grosvenor Crescent Mews feel too shut in. This is because of its bulk and height and how close it is to windows in that property. This would not meet Policies 7 and 38(C) of the City Plan 2019 - 2040 (April 2021).
Insufficient information has been submitted to demonstrate that the proposed 1.8m tall closed panel fence would not cause a material loss of daylight to windows in 28 and 29 Grosvenor Crescent Mews. We believe that the fence could result in a loss of daylight to these windows. This would not meet Policies 7 and 38(C) of the City Plan 2019 - 2040 (April 2021).
Due to increased noise and disturbance the proposed use of the first floor flat area as an amenity space by the office occupiers of the building would harm the environment of people living in 27, 28 and 29 Grosvenor Crescent Mews. This would not meet Policies 7 and 33 of City Plan 2019 - 2040 (April 2021).
