Removal of Condition 6 of planning permission dated 23 June 2020 (RN: 20/01448/FULL) for, 'Flexible use of the ground and basement floors for either retail (Class A1) or restaurant use (Class A3)'; Namely, to allow the operator sell hot food take away and operate a delivery service as an ancillary part of the restaurant use.
The provision of a delivery service would lead to an unacceptable loss of amenity and general environment for people in neighbouring properties due to increased noise, congestion and pollution, has the potential to negatively impact the pedestrian environment by blocking the footway and increase demand on remaining highway space, add to an already high demand for on-street cycle and motorcycle parking in the area to the detriment of people living in the area and discouraging more sustainable forms of transport. This would not meet Policies 7, 16 (E) 25, 28(B), 32 (D), 33, 38(C) 43 (D) of the City Plan 2019 - 2040 (April 2021). (X13AD)
