Installation of two pole mounted antenna, two 300mm dishes, three equipment cabinets to be installed on a new steelwork support frame within a GRP shroud and ancillary development thereto at roof level.
Why it was refused
Reason 1
Because of their height, design, and location, the antennas, apparatus and screening would harm the appearance and special architectural interest of this grade II listed building. It would also fail to maintain or improve (preserve or enhance) the character and appearance of the Mayfair Conservation Area. This would not meet S25 and S28 of Westminster's City Plan (November 2016) and DES 1 and paras 10.108 to 10.146 of our Unitary Development Plan that we adopted in January 2007. (X17CC)
