Erection of a part one, part two storey front, side and rear extension, involving the conversion of garage into a habitable room, conversion of loft space involving alterations to existing roofline, a dormer extension at rear, rooflights to front roofslope and alterations to the front and rear fenestrations.
By virtue of its design, scale and massing the proposed development would appear overdominant, incongruous and disproportionate to the host building and the adjoining property. The scheme therefore would be harmful to the site and its contribution to the character and appearance of the surrounding area, contrary to Policy D4 of the London Plan, Policy 28 of the Sutton Local Plan 2018 and SPD 4 'Design of Residential Extensions.
