Change of use from Class E (Financial and Professional Services) to mixed use Class E (Restaurant) and Sui Generis (Take away), involving alterations to shop front, replacement entrance door, ATM removal and creation of a second entrance door and alterations to side and rear fenestration, demolition of a single storey addition at rear and erection of a single storey rear extension, provision of handrails and screen to the rear at first floor and erection of an open refuse bins enclosure at rear involving 3-metre high walls and a door.
The proposed development would result in an increase in vehicle movements, including motorcycle delivery drivers, that would have a detrimental impact on pedestrian and highway safety and result in an unacceptable increase in traffic, noise, fumes and disturbance. As such the proposal would be contrary to Policies 34 and 36 of the Sutton Local Plan.
