Scheme description

LISTED BUILDING CONSENT FOR THE NEW/REPLACEMENT INTERNAL DOORS

Why it was refused
Reason 1

The replacement internal doors installed are not considered appropriate additions to the Listed building; their installation, resulting in the loss of the existing original doors, is considered harmful and detrimental to the historic and architectural significance of the heritage asset. Therefore, the proposal is considered contrary to the following policies: London Plan (2021) Policy HC1, Merton Sites and Policies Plan (2014) Policies DMD2, DMD3 and DMD4, and Merton Core Strategy (2011) Policy CS14.
