Loft conversion involving the erection of a rear dormers to the existing roof and rear outrigger and the installation of three front rooflights.
By reason of bulk, design, form and detailing the L-shaped roof extension would fail to integrate with the host roof, and would fail to respect the composition, proportions and character of the host building. Additionally, raising the ridge height would further fail to respect and disrupt the local distinctiveness of the area and will result in the subject site having a more prominent front roof slope than the terrace group to which it belongs.
