The proposed rear mansard extension by reason of its design, and proportions, is considered to represent an incongruous addition and form of development that is not subordinate to the host building. The proposed roof terrace would unacceptably alter the uniform appearance of the small group of semi-detached buildings, failing to respond positively to the original architecture, roof form and group characteristics of the property.
