The proposed works are considered to cause a low level of less than substantial harm to the listed building due to the excessive visual clutter that results from the installation for further cabling, boxes and trunking, In addition to this insufficient information has been submitted to fully assess the harm caused as the submission fails to include full floor plans showing existing locations of cables and boxes, along with the locations of the riser cupboards, or full details of the size and exact positioning of the trunking. The proposal is therefore contrary to policy Q20 of the Local Plan (2021) and the 'Lambeth Design Guide' Supplementary Planning Document (2023) and fails to accord with paragraph 208 of the NPPF.
