The proposed roof extension, by reason of its siting, bulk, and design, would fail to respond positively to the original architecture, roof form and detailing of the host building and its group. The proposed extension would unacceptably dominate the host building, failing to achieve subordination. The application is therefore contrary to policies Q5 and Q11 of the Lambeth Local Plan 2021.
