Erection of L-shaped rear dormer together with the installation of 2 rooflights to the front roof slope.
By reason of bulk, design, form and detailing the L-shaped roof extension would fail to integrate with the host roof, and would fail to respect the composition, proportions and character of the host building. Additionally, raising the ridge height would further fail to respect and disrupt the local distinctiveness of the area and will result in the subject site having a more prominent front roof slope than the terrace group to which it belongs. The development in the manner proposed is therefore contrary to policies Q5 and Q11 of the Lambeth Local Plan 2021 and the Design Guide SPD (2023) and fails to accord with paragraph 202 of the NPPF
