The boundary treatment by reason of its location and height, is not characteristic of the immediate locality, conflicts with local distinctiveness, and is detrimental to the character and appearance of the property and the visual amenity of the streetscape. As such the application would conflict with policies Q2, Q5 & Q15 of the Lambeth Local Plan 2020-2035 (2021).

The boundary treatment would exceed 900mm in height and the application fails to demonstrate that it would not harm pedestrian and vehicular sightlines, visibility and safety.
