Erection of a single storey ground floor rear extension; single storey extension over existing first floor rear closet and installation of 2 rooflights to the main roof.
The proposed ground floor glazed rear extension and rooflights by reason of their size, scale, bulk, massing and detailed design would result in a visually prominent and obtrusive forms of development, which fail to be subordinate to the host building and the wider terrace. Consequently, the proposal would be contrary to Policies Q5 and Q11 of the Lambeth Local Plan (2021) and the Building Alterations and Extensions SPD (2015).
In the absence of information to demonstrate that the proposed closet extension would not result in a loss of daylight to the habitable rooms of No. 16 Lambourn Road, the application is contrary to Policy Q2 of the Lambeth Local Plan (2021).
