The proposed roof extension by reason of its bulk and design, would constitute a discordant addition to the host property and would fail to represent a subservient addition to the roof or a positive response to the character and appearance of the host property and surrounding terrace. The proposal is therefore contrary to the guidance set out in the adopted Building Alterations and Extension Supplementary Planning Document (2015) and policy Q5 and Q11 of the Lambeth Local Plan 2020-2035 (September 2021).
