The proposed hard landscaping, by way of failing to retain at least fifty per cent of the front garden area as soft planting, shrubs, or lawn, the development result in a harsh and car-dominated frontage that fails to positively respond to local distinctiveness and causes a loss of verdant character contrary to Policy Guidance 45 of the Residential Design Supplementary Planning Document, London Plan Policy D3, and Kingston Core Strategy Policies CS8 and DM10

Insufficient information has been submitted to sufficiently demonstrate that the proposed drain would mitigate any potential drainage issues or water run off to other properties therefore does not comply with the sustainable drainage hierarchy contrary to London Plan Policy SI 13, Kingston Core Strategy Policy DM4, and Residential design guide SPD policy 45.
