Insufficient information has been submitted to demonstrate that the proposed carport would not result in an unacceptable adverse impact upon the longevity, health and appearance of the surrounding trees which contribute positively to the significance of the and Coombe Hill Conservation Area. It has not been demonstrated that the proposals would preserve the character and appearance of the Coombe Hill Conservation Area and that the proposals would not harm any protected trees and the development is therefore contrary to Policies D3, HC1 and G7 of the London Plan (2021) and policies CS8, DM10 and DM12 of the Council's adopted LDF Core Strategy April 2012.
