- The proposed first floor side extension, in conjunction with the proposed gable end and rear dormer, would result in a discordant and ungainly cumulative addition to the dwelling and would fail to meet the high quality design aspirations of the National Planning Policy Framework (2024). The proposal is also contrary to Policy D3.D (1) and (11) of the London Plan (2021), Core Strategy Policy CSB (2012), Policy DM1 of the Harrow Development Management Policies Local Plan (2013) and the adopted Harrow Supplementary Planning Document Residential Design Guide (2010) and GR1 of the Draft Harrow Local Plan 2021-2041.
