- The proposed two storey rear extension by reason of its bulk and scale would create an incongruous feature which would be obtrusive and disruptive to the symmetry of the pair of semi-detached dwellings and would fail to preserve or enhance the character and appearance of the conservation area and will be contrary to the National Planning Policy Framework (2024), Policies D3.D(7) and D3.D(11) of The London Plan (2021), Policy CS1.B of the Harrow Core Strategy (2012), Policy DM1 of the Development Management Plan Local Policies (2013) and the Adopted Supplementary Planning Document: Residential Design Guide (2010).
