Change of Use from residential (Class C3) to house of multiple occupation (5-bedroom, 7 Occupants HMO) (Class Sui Generis) internal alterations
- By reason of the loss of the existing family dwellinghouse in an area dominated by family sized dwellings, the proposed change of use of the site into a Large House of Multiple Occupation would have a detrimental impact on the existing character with the surrounding family homes within the immediate vicinity of the application site. The proposal would therefore be contrary to policy D3.D(11) of the London Plan (2021), policy CS1B of the Harrow Core Strategy (2012), policies DM1 and DM26 and DM30(C) of the Harrow Development Management Policies Local Plan (2013) and policy HO10(4) of the Harrow Draft New Local Plan (2021-2041) (Regulation 19 Version).
