Change of use of part Upper Floor from (Class B2) to (Class B2/E)
- The proposed change of use would result in a net loss of industrial floorspace from the borough stocks, for which there is an evidenced strategic need to retain. The submitted information is unable to justify this loss of floorspace. Therefore the proposal is contrary to Policy E4 of the London Plan (2021), and Policy LE3 of the Harrow Local Plan (2021-2041).
- Insufficient information has been submitted to the Local Planning Authority to demonstrate that the proposed Use Class E(d) would be a compatible use with the adjoining industrial uses within the Chantry Place Industrial estate, and not to the detriment of existing occupiers within the Industrial Park and neighbouring residents. The proposal therefore fails to accord with policies GR1 and LE3 of the Harrow Local Plan (2021-2041).
