The proposed extension, by reason of its combined height, scale and location on the boundary, would result in an unneighbourly form of development which would have a detrimental impact on the amenity of 15 Elrington Road in terms of a harmful sense of enclosure and overshadowing impacts. As such the proposal is contrary to LP2 (Development and amenity) of Hackney's Local Plan LP33 (2020) and the Residential Extensions and Alterations Supplementary Planning Document (2009).
