The front boundary wall, piers and gates, by virtue of their siting, height and design, would represent a significantly dominant and harmful boundary treatment which would be out of keeping with the prevailing open character and appearance of the surrounding area, contrary to Policy D3 of the London Plan 2021, CP 30 of the Enfield Core Strategy 2010, DMD 8 and DMD 37 of the Enfield Development Management Document 2014 and National Planning Policy Framework (2024).
