UKPN substation and the reconfiguration of disabled persons vehicular parking spaces.
In the absence of an acoustic report to demonstrate the noise level to be generated by the proposed substation, the proposal has failed to demonstrate that it would not have an unacceptable impact on existing and future neighbouring residential occupiers through noise and disturbance. The proposal is therefore contrary to policy CP32 of the Enfield Core Strategy (2010) and policy DMD68 of the Development Management Document (2014).
In the absence of tracking information to demonstrate access to the proposed disabled parking bays, the proposal has failed to demonstrate that the parking spaces will be readily accessible for future residents of the development in line with the Council's adopted standards. The proposal is therefore contrary to Policy T6 of the London Plan (2021) and Policies DMD45 and DMD47 of the Development Management Document (2014) Dated: 13 November 2023 Authorised on behalf of: Karen Page Head of Planning and Building Control Housing, Regeneration and Development Department Enfield Council PO Box 53, Civic Centre Silver Street, Enfield EN1 3XE If you have any questions about this decision, please contact the planning officer kate.perry@enfield.gov.uk.
