The proposed two storey side and rear extensions, by virtue of their depth, height, bulk, massing and detailed design, would appear visually intrusive, overly dominant and out of keeping with the host building and the surrounding area, contrary to policies DMD 8, DMD 11, DMD 14, DMD 15 and DMD 37 of the Enfield Development Management Document 2014, CP 30 of the Enfield Core Strategy 2010, Policies D3 and D4 of the London Plan 2021 and the policies of the National Planning Policy Framework 2021 taken as a whole.
