The proposed development, by virtue of Flat 2 failing to provide sufficient combined area kitchen-living-dining space, and Flat 3 failing to achieve the required 2.5m headroom across at least 75% of its GIA, would result in substandard living conditions and represents an unacceptable form of development. The proposed development would therefore be contrary to Policy D6 of the London Plan (2021), Policies 3.5 and 7D of the Ealing Development Management DPD (2013) and the London Plan Guidance: Housing Design Standards (2023).
