The proposed two storey side/rear side extension, by way of its length, width and roof profile, would result in a discordant form of development within the application site which would appear overly dominant and out of character. The side/rear roof design would fail to adhere to the nature of the host dwellinghouse and would detrimentally impact the appearance of the application site. It is considered that the proposal would be unacceptable in terms of its scale and design and would fail to comply with the objectives of the policies D3 and D4 of the London Plan (2021), policies 7B, and 7.4 of the Ealing Development Management DPD (2013).
