Overall, the proposed new dwellings, by way of their scale and siting would constitute an overdevelopment of the site, with detrimental impacts in terms of enclosing the street scene and green belt while also being harmful to the residential amenity of adjoining dwellings. As such, the proposal would be contrary to Policy D1 & D4 of the London Plan (2021), 7.4, 7B and 7C of the Ealing Development Management DPD (2013) and the NPPF (2024).
