The proposed roof alteration of roof from hip to a gable end and rear roof extension, by virtue of design and form, would provide for an incongruous and out of keeping addition to the host dwelling, unbalance the symmetry of the pair of semi-detached properties which would be detrimental to the character and appearance of the host dwelling. The proposal would erode the away at the heritage values of the Brunswick Conservation Area. As such, the proposal would be contrary to Policy D1, D4, HC1 of the London Plan (2021), 7.4, 7B and 7C of the Ealing Development Management DPD (2013) and the Brunswick Conservation Area Management Plan (2007).
