The proposed development, by reason of the front and rear roof extensions, would result in an unsympathetic and incongruous additions to the host property. It would harm the character and appearance of the host property and its surroundings. As such, the proposal would be contrary to Policies D3 and D4 of the London Plan (2021), Policies 7.4 and 7B of the Ealing Development Management DPD (2013), the NPPF (2024) and Policy DAA of Ealing's draft new Local Plan (Regulation 22).
