The proposed banqueting hall (sui-generis) would introduce a non- conforming use within a Locally Significant Industrial Site (LSIS) to the detriment of the integrity and effectiveness of the LSIS. As such, the proposal is contrary to policy E4, E6 and E7 of the London Plan 2021, Policy E4 of the Ealing Draft Local Plan (2024), Policy 4A of the Ealing Development Management DPD (2013) and Ealing's Development Sites 2013.
