Alterations to rear ground floor extension and proposed roof extension
The proposed roof extension by reason of its form and design would result in an unsightly and obtrusive addition out of keeping with the character of the area and detrimental to the appearance of the building and street scene and would fail to integrate successfully within the immediate surroundings contrary to Policy DM10 of the Croydon Local Plan 2018 and the Councils Supplementary Suburban Design Guide (2019).
The proposed roof extension would be detrimental to the visual amenity and outlook for neighbours by reason of its dominant appearance and impact on the street scene and gardens of neighbouring properties and would thereby conflict with Policies 3.5 and 7.4 of the London Plan, SP2 and DM10 of the Croydon Local Plan 2018
