Installation of 3 x air conditioning units and 2 x refrigeration units in front lightwell and pavement vaults (retrospective).
The 3 x external air conditioning and refrigeration units within the front lightwell, by reason of their number, size, and prominent siting, create visual clutter and fail to preserve the special architectural and historic interest of the host Grade II listed building and the character and appearance of this part of the Fitzroy Square Conservation Area, contrary to policies D1 (Design) and D2 (Heritage) of Camden's Local Plan 2017.
The development results in unacceptable noise and disturbance to neighbouring residential occupiers, as the air conditioning units exceed the Council's adopted noise thresholds and the proposal fails to include the necessary acoustic mitigation, contrary to Policies A1 and A4 of the Camden Local Plan 2017.
