Reason 1
The proposal, by reason of the poor design of the cumulative roof elements would significantly alter the appearance of the roof and result in an out of character development that by reason of their interconnected design would be overly bulky and visually intrusive. As a result, the proposal is contrary to Policy DMP1 and Policy BD1 of Brent's Local Plan and the guidance within Brent's Supplementary Planning Guide SPD2 –Brent’s Residential Extensions Design Guide (2018).
