The as built front railings, boundary wall and access gates with associated brick piers would by reason of their size, height, design and prominent siting and appearance would result in an incongruous, overly prominent and visually obtrusive additions to the host site detracting from the open character and appearance of this part of Elmgate Gardens, detrimental to the host site, street scene and the surrounding area, contrary to policies D1, D4 and D5 of The London Plan (2021) and policies CDH01 and CDH05 of the adopted local plan (2025).
