The proposed rendering of the external walls and the colour proposed would be unduly obtrusive, inharmonious, unsympathetic and out of keeping with the character and appearance of the host building, the adjacent locally listed buildings and the street scene detrimental to the visual amenities of the locality.The proposal is therefore contrary to policies CS1 and CS5 of Barnet's Adopted Core Strategy (2012), policy DM01 and DM06 of the Adopted Development Management Policies DPD (2012) and Policy D3 and HC1 of the London Plan (2021) and the Adopted residential Design Guidance 2016.
