The proposed ground floor terrace and access steps and the proposed enlarged first floor terrace, by reason of their size, siting, design, and proximity to neighbouring boundaries would have a detrimental impact on the amenities of the neighbouring occupiers at no. 24 and 28 Park Drive, causing overlooking and loss of privacy, contrary to policy CS5 of the Barnet Local Plan Core Strategy (adopted 2012), policy DM01 of the Barnet Development Management Policies DPD (adopted 2012) and the Residential Design Guidance SPD (adopted 2016).
