Change of use of ground floor premises from public house (sui generis) to Adult Gaming Centre (sui generis) New shopfront
The proposed loss of a Public House (suis generis) on the High Street of North Finchley Town Centre for the purposes of Adult Gaming (sui-generis) would have a detrimental impact on the vitality and viability of the town-centre, and would have a harmful effect on the health and wellbeing of residents and the local area, contrary to Policy SD6 of The London Plan (2021), Policy CS6 of the Barnet Adopted Core Strategy (2012) and Policies DM01 and DM11 of the Adopted Development Management Policies DPD (2012).
In the absence of effective marketing to substantiate the loss of a Public House (sui generis) use within the primary frontage of North Finchley Town Centre, the proposed change of use from Public House (sui generis) to an Adult Gaming Centre (sui generis) is contrary to Policy SD6 of The London Plan (2021), Policy CS6 of the Barnet Adopted Core Strategy (2012) and Policy DM01 of the Adopted Development Management Policies DPD (2012).
