The proposed side and rear wrap-around roof extension, by virtue of its size, siting and design, would constitute a bulky and incongruous addition that would appear disproportionate, visually obtrusive and unsympathetic, to the detriment of the character and appearance of the host property and surrounding area, contrary to Policies CS1 and CS5 of the Barnet Core Strategy (2012), Policy DM01 of the Barnet Development Management Polices (2012), Policy D3 of the London Plan (2021) and the Barnet Residential Design Guidance SPD (2016)
