Construction of a single storey rear extension
The proposal, by reason of design, scale and siting, would appear as an incongruous and contrived addition which would fail to be subordinate to the original dwelling and would disrupt the planned form of development. Its irregular form and non-rectilinear shape, along with the cumulative impact of the existing extension would lead to harm to the character and appearance of the host dwelling and wider area and Becontree Estate. The proposal would cause undue harm to the character of the host dwelling and to the non-designated heritage asset.
